On the 26th of January, it was not just an ordinary Sunday where you could get to bond with your family, as all different families join and gather together in celebration of the Family Day with the theme "A Family United in Love".That day was a time that I would never forget as I get to enjoy the celebration with my friends and with my family. With the jolly and energetic presentations up to the nerve-wracking feeling when the raffle would take place, that day never ceased to disappoint me.

We can agree with the theme that love makes our families united. Love is an important value and should never be neglected in a family. Love is like the seed of a plant, with the plant itself as the other values. This means as love would grow, we can incorporate other important values easily and naturally. Love is the foundation of all the values and without love, it's hard to become a good person and hating someone isn't just right.
The family day started with a mass. As we all know, one part of an ordinary family bonding is going to church, aside from going to malls and even just staying at home. Unfortunately, my parents weren't there at that time as they were preparing to go to school.
After the mass was the opening remarks from the principal, Nina Teresa C. Alilin and a message from congressman Bebot Abellanosa. After that, the performances from different levels followed.

After the long string of events, we finally had our dinner. Just like every year, instead of eating on the tables, we decided to eat at the canteen and it was a pretty good dinner with my parents and with my sister.

But that didn't stop us from getting sad. Finally, the night ended with a blast as the program would end with a disco the school would have annually. As the disco went on, we helped in cleaning our booth, probably because I wasn't really a party person.

Anyways, this school year's family day was memorable and I can never forget it. Every moment, every second, we should cherish it when we are with our family. Remember that your family will be there for you at your best and at your worst. And with the performances that everyone did and with the awards that our grade level won, I can say it was indeed a night to remember.
